Responsibility
- Define and implement EDA methodologies and design flows for RF, analog, mixed-signal, and digital IC development.
- Collaborate with design teams to optimize tool usage, improve efficiency, and ensure design success.
- Develop and maintain scripts, automation tools, and workflows to enhance productivity.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams on EDA tools and best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new EDA tools and technologies to enhance design capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to design methodologies and tool integration.
- Document methodologies, workflows, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in EDA tools and semiconductor design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EDA tools and semiconductor design methodologies.
- Proficiency in EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, or similar.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Tcl, or Perl.
- Experience with RF, analog, mixed-signal, or digital IC design flows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in a leadership or mentoring role is a plus.
