Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced application solutions for building automation and smart infrastructure.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies into Johnson Controlsā product portfolio.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, ensuring solutions align with their operational and sustainability goals.
- Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization to enhance performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architectures, user manuals, and best practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in application engineering.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and training sessions to demonstrate solution capabilities and benefits.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Masterās degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in application engineering, software development, or building automation systems.
- Proven expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and familiarity with IoT and cloud-based platforms.
- Strong understanding of building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, or energy management solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teams and clients.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements or team meetings.
