Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of signal monitoring and direction-finding systems for aerospace and defense applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, product, sales) to define product roadmaps and GTM strategies for defense communication solutions.
- Optimize system performance through advanced signal processing algorithms, RF analysis, and electronic warfare techniques.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and provide expert recommendations for system architecture improvements.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies to gather requirements and ensure compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in troubleshooting complex system integration challenges.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in defense communication, radar systems, and emerging threats to inform product innovation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, whitepapers, and training materials for internal and external audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in RF systems, signal processing, or defense communication technologies.
- Proven track record in direction finding, electronic warfare, or radar systems development.
- Strong expertise in MATLAB, Python, or C++ for algorithm development and simulation.
- Experience with software-defined radios (SDR), spectrum analyzers, and RF test equipment.
- Familiarity with defense standards (MIL-STD, DO-178C) and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to obtain or hold security clearance (if required).
