Responsibility
- Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints for civil and structural projects using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and convert them into precise drafts.
- Review and verify drawings for compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
- Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback from engineers or clients to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical archives of project drawings, documentation, and revisions for easy retrieval.
- Assist in site visits to gather measurements, verify existing conditions, and ensure drawings align with on-site requirements.
- Utilize 3D modeling tools to create visual representations of structural components for client presentations.
- Stay updated with the latest drafting technologies, software updates, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Draughtsperson or CAD Technician, preferably in civil/structural projects (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or other CAD software is a must.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce error-free technical drawings.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
