Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate end-to-end air freight operations, including import/export documentation, customs clearance, and delivery scheduling.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Optimize logistics routes and costs while ensuring compliance with international aviation and trade regulations.
- Monitor and track shipments in real-time, providing proactive updates to clients and resolving any delays or issues.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates and contracts with carriers and service providers to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Implement best practices in warehouse and inventory management for air cargo handling.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in air freight logistics, with a proven track record in international cargo operations.
- In-depth knowledge of IATA regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, Kewill, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to relocate or travel as required to support operations in Bali.
