Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, approval workflows, and vendor payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume transactions while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and external vendors, to streamline payment processes.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize cash flow.
- Prepare and present AP reports, metrics, and insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Monitor vendor accounts, negotiate payment terms, and resolve inquiries or disputes professionally.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all AP-related entries are accurate and complete.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and tax compliance in a multinational environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with process automation, AP software, or digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
