Responsibility
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with Indonesian GAAP and tax regulations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage tax planning, filings, and submissions (e.g., VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax) in accordance with local and national regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely financial audits and tax assessments.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with legal and management teams to support financial decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or Brevet A/B certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and tax, preferably in real estate, consulting, or a similar industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (e.g., PPh, PPN, PPH 21/23) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; familiarity with Bali’s business landscape is advantageous.
