Responsibility
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements, coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing input based on historical data and market trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
