Responsibility
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and company policies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Manage general ledger entries, journal vouchers, and month-end/year-end closing activities to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, procurement, and logistics teams) to provide financial insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax, and coordinate with external auditors during audits.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Leverage accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) to streamline processes and improve reporting capabilities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or auditing, preferably in the manufacturing, agriculture, or FMCG sectors.
- Proficiency in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and local tax regulations (e.g., BIR, SEC).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
- Experience working in a hybrid or remote environment is highly desirable.
