Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a remote team of accountants, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to deadlines.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory reports in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risk and improve efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic financial advice and addressing complex accounting inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and integrate best practices.
- Monitor budget performance, analyze financial data, and present insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry trends, ensuring the firm remains compliant and competitive.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional designation (e.g., CA, ACCA).
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role (public accounting/practice experience preferred).
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and tax compliance for multinational clients.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing remote teams.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations is a plus but not required.
