Responsibility
- Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and ensure timely tax filings.
- Monitor cash flow, forecast financial trends, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Oversee budget preparation, variance analysis, and cost management initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business planning, investment decisions, and risk management.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial capacity.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle).
- Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
