Responsibility
- Lead and execute Financial Due Diligence (FDD) processes, including analysis of financial statements, risk assessment, and reporting.
- Conduct in-depth financial fact-finding to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Investigate and evaluate internal control systems, recommending enhancements to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and present financial reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in both English and Japanese.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve financial accuracy.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to local and international financial standards.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to the organization’s needs.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role.
- Fluency in Japanese (business level) and English; ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly in both languages.
- Proven expertise in Financial Due Diligence (FDD), financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and financial software.
- Experience working in a multinational or cross-cultural environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (or already based in the region).
