Responsibility
- Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards.
- Lead treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and intercompany funding.
- Ensure accurate and timely general ledger reconciliations and financial statement preparations.
- Collaborate with regional teams to consolidate financial data and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Analyze financial performance and present variance reports to senior management with actionable recommendations.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in regional finance, treasury, or a similar role within a multinational environment.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance (IFRS, GAAP).
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Experience with cash management, foreign exchange, and intercompany transactions is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, international setting.
