Responsibility
- Oversee and manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and local financial regulations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and budgets for the Commission.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and addressing findings.
- Develop and implement internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard organizational assets.
- Monitor cash flow, expenditures, and budget variances, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with programmatic objectives.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices, ensuring organizational compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and audit coordination.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local financial regulations in Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in non-profit, government, or indigenous-focused organizations is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail.
