Responsibility
- Conduct thorough reviews of fund accounting deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Validate financial statements, NAV calculations, and investor reports for assigned funds.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to address audit queries and ensure smooth compliance processes.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting fund accounting.
- Prepare and present financial insights to senior management and clients as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting, with at least 2 years in a review or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Proficiency in fund accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Experience in a hybrid or remote work setup is advantageous.
