Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the company’s general accounting operations, ensuring adherence to GAAP and local financial regulations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with meticulous accuracy.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic business decisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate income tax.
- Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and compliance reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations (Philippines/Indonesia experience preferred).
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings clearly.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor junior staff and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Experience in financial reporting, auditing, and internal controls is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
