Responsibility
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic business decisions.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations for multiple entities.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations for cost optimization.
- Ensure tax compliance by coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors for local and international filings.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Utilize ERP/financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) to streamline processes and enhance data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance (GAAP/IFRS).
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with multi-entity or international accounting is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations is a bonus but not required.
