Responsibility
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage general ledger accounts, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions with meticulous attention to detail.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risk and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with auditors (internal/external) to facilitate audits and address findings proactively.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic business decisions.
- Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate filings, in coordination with local regulations.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS and experience with financial reporting for multinational companies.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with global teams.
- Experience in tax compliance and audit coordination within the Indonesian regulatory framework is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of process improvement and team collaboration.
