Responsibility
- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Conduct thorough financial audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory filings, while liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and compliance with Indonesian accounting standards (PSAK) and IFRS.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Experience in tax planning, filings, and liaising with tax authorities.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; familiarity with local business practices in Bali is advantageous.
