Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive financial and systems analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Verify and validate entries in the local accounting system, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct audit support and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial integrity.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
