Responsibility
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian accounting standards (SAK).
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate smooth audits and tax filings.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment is highly desirable.
