Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Conduct financial audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (PSAK) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel functions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience in tax compliance and reporting for Indonesian entities.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
