Responsibility
- Prepare and file Australian tax returns (including BAS, GST, and income tax) for corporate and individual clients.
- Manage month-end and year-end financial closing processes in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and IFRS.
- Develop and maintain financial statements, reports, and forecasts for Australian-based clients.
- Provide strategic financial advice to clients on tax optimization, cash flow management, and business growth.
- Liaise with Australian tax authorities (ATO) and external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) to streamline financial processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business expansion into the Australian market.
- Stay updated on changes in Australian tax laws and financial regulations to advise clients proactively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, with proven expertise in Australian tax and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, GST, BAS, and Superannuation requirements.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations is advantageous but not required.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
