Responsibility
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements in Indonesia.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and implement best practices.
- Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage audits (internal and external) and liaise with auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience working in a hybrid or remote environment, with the ability to manage time and priorities independently.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
