Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the accounting and financial operations for multiple companies within the BSM Engineering and Construction group.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations for business growth.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance to identify risks and opportunities.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals to ensure high performance and compliance.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with local and international financial standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience managing financial operations for multiple entities or a corporate group.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in the engineering, construction, or related industries is highly desirable.
