Responsibility

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the hotel’s security team, ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security protocols, emergency response plans, and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard guests, employees, and property.
  • Conduct regular inspections of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Lead and train security personnel, fostering a culture of vigilance, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
  • Investigate and document security incidents, accidents, or breaches, providing detailed reports to management and relevant authorities.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and other agencies to maintain a secure environment.
  • Monitor guest and staff access to restricted areas, ensuring adherence to security clearances and procedures.
  • Assist in crisis management situations, including medical emergencies, natural disasters, or security threats, with calm and decisive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security management, preferably in the hospitality or luxury service industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience supervising a team of security personnel.
  • Certification in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, surveillance technology, and emergency response protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational needs.
  • Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
