Responsibility
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to deter and detect security breaches, unauthorized access, or suspicious activities.
- Monitor and operate surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems, to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
- Control and manage entry points, verifying identities and authorizations of individuals entering the premises.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, documenting observations, actions taken, and any irregularities for further investigation.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and property management teams to coordinate security efforts and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and residents with inquiries, directions, or security-related concerns.
- Maintain a visible and approachable presence to enhance safety awareness and foster a secure environment for all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field, preferably in a hospitality, commercial, or residential setting.
- Valid security license or certification (e.g., SIKAT, SIO, or equivalent) recognized in Indonesia; willingness to obtain local certifications if required.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to potential security threats effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Professional demeanor with a customer-focused approach, capable of handling sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Basic knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Ability to work independently, follow protocols, and adapt to changing security needs in a fast-paced environment.
