Responsibility
- Lead and coordinate security governance initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide expert advisory on security risks, identifying potential threats and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and frameworks to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes and address findings.
- Promote a strong risk culture across the organization through training, awareness programs, and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor and report on security governance metrics, providing insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Support the development and maintenance of the organization's risk management framework.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats, trends, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security governance, risk management, or compliance within the financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and local financial regulations.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, audits, and developing security policies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or CRISC are highly desirable.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience working in a digital banking or fintech environment is a plus.
