Responsibility
- Lead and manage the Security Operations Centre (SOC) team, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and incident response.
- Develop and implement incident response plans, playbooks, and procedures to mitigate cyber threats.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve security incidents efficiently.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analyses to prevent future breaches.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and threat intelligence to identify potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior SOC analysts and incident responders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance security awareness and training programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response and SOC operations.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, threat detection tools, and incident response methodologies.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar) and endpoint detection solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in high-stakes situations.
- Familiarity with cloud security and hybrid environments is a plus.
