Responsibility
- Design, implement, and optimize AI-driven security solutions to protect Alphabetâs enterprise data and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks using advanced threat detection techniques.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to enhance anomaly detection and response capabilities.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Automate security processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities, proactively integrating new security measures into existing systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the security engineering team through knowledge sharing and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in enterprise security, with a focus on AI/ML applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, and experience with security tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, particularly in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar environments.
- Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and incident response methodologies.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global team.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
