Responsibility
- Lead and manage contract manufacturing partnerships to ensure seamless production and delivery of high-quality products.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve lead times.
- Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process, from raw material procurement to final product inspection, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and logistics, to align manufacturing processes with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, proactively addressing potential disruptions to maintain operational continuity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data analytics and performance metrics to enhance productivity and quality.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and long-term partnerships that support business growth.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in contract manufacturing, production management, or supply chain operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing high-volume manufacturing projects and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, supply chain software, and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, and other industry-specific quality standards.
- Ability to travel occasionally to vendor sites and production facilities as needed.
