Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the document control team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of ECNs, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain QMS-compliant document control procedures in alignment with ISO and industry standards.
- Oversee ERP data governance, including system updates, access controls, and data integrity for manufacturing and logistics operations.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to streamline document workflows and reduce bottlenecks.
- Conduct regular audits of documentation systems to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in document management, version control, and change tracking.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and traceability of controlled documents.
- Prepare and present reports and metrics on document control performance to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, CMQ/OE) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in document control, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven expertise in QMS frameworks (ISO 9001, AS9100) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of ECN, BOM management, and engineering documentation processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management software (e.g., SharePoint, Windchill), and data analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
