Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and store aerospace components and materials in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of warehouse spaces to optimize storage and workflow.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and improve processes.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues with inventory to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in aerospace or a related industry.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
