Responsibility
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with international or national curriculum standards (e.g., Cambridge, IB, or Indonesian national curriculum) for secondary students (grades 7-12).
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth and development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects, extracurricular activities, and school-wide initiatives that enhance the learning experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school administrators regarding student performance, behavior, and well-being.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching tools (e.g., interactive whiteboards, educational apps) to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Participate in professional development workshops, staff meetings, and school events to contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
- Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and child protection standards, to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a relevant subject area (e.g., English, Mathematics, Science) with a teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level (grades 7-12) in an international or reputable school setting.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus but not required.
- Strong knowledge of international curricula (e.g., Cambridge IGCSE, IB, or national standards) and modern pedagogical approaches.
- Experience with differentiated instruction, project-based learning, and integrating technology into the classroom.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a passion for working in a multicultural environment.
- Commitment to professional growth, cultural sensitivity, and student-centered education.
- Ability to adapt to a new cultural and professional environment while maintaining high teaching standards.
