Responsibility
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education frameworks (HCIC/ACEY).
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children aged 2-6 years.
- Facilitate hands-on activities, including arts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play to stimulate cognitive and social development.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing personalized feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and administrators to support holistic child development.
- Organize and lead educational field trips and community-based learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior observations, and developmental milestones.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and workshops to foster strong home-school partnerships.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (e.g., Psychology, Child Development).
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, or similar setting.
- Certification in HCIC, ACEY, or equivalent early childhood frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Creative, patient, and passionate about nurturing young minds with a child-centered approach.
- Familiarity with bilingual education (English and Indonesian) is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends for events or parent meetings.
- First Aid and CPR certification for children (preferred).
