Responsibility
- Provide high-quality early childhood care and education to children aged 2-6 in a nurturing environment.
- Design and implement age-appropriate learning activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and hygiene of all children under your care.
- Collaborate with parents, particularly mothers in the program, to support their childrenâs growth and development.
- Maintain accurate records of each childâs progress, behavior, and milestones.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere that fosters creativity and curiosity.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about the importance of early childhood education.
- Work closely with the LP4Y team to align educational goals with the broader mission of empowering mothers through education.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Candidates with relevant certifications (e.g., TEFL, Montessori) are a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and community members.
- Passion for social impact and a commitment to empowering underserved communities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with flexibility and adaptability.
- Fluency in English (additional proficiency in Indonesian or local dialects is a plus).
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one).
