Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality IGCSE Mandarin lessons aligned with curriculum standards, ensuring students achieve academic excellence.
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and feedback, providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular themes and enhance the overall learning experience.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or cultural events, to deepen students’ connection to Mandarin.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, TESOL, or equivalent) with experience in the IGCSE curriculum.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin (HSK Level 6 or equivalent); fluency in English is essential.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably in an international school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for hybrid or online learning (e.g., Google Classroom, Zoom).
- Cultural sensitivity and experience working in multicultural environments.
