Responsibility
- Provide high-quality care and education for infants (0-3 years) in alignment with ACEY and HCIC guidelines.
- Design and implement age-appropriate learning activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to early learning.
- Observe and assess each child’s progress, documenting milestones and sharing insights with parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for children with diverse needs.
- Facilitate parent-teacher communication through regular updates, meetings, and workshops.
- Organize and lead outdoor learning adventures to enhance sensory and motor skill development.
- Uphold health, hygiene, and safety protocols in compliance with local and international early childhood standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (ACEY/HCIC certification is a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with infants or toddlers in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of developmental milestones for children aged 0-3 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for early childhood education.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to the dynamic needs of young learners.
- Familiarity with bilingual or multicultural education is advantageous.
- First Aid and CPR certification for infants and children (preferred).
