Responsibility
- Conduct one-on-one or small-group online English lessons for Korean professionals, focusing on business English, conversational fluency, and pronunciation.
- Develop and customize lesson plans tailored to each student’s proficiency level, learning goals, and professional needs.
- Utilize interactive teaching methods, including role-playing, real-world scenarios, and multimedia resources, to enhance engagement and retention.
- Provide constructive feedback and progress reports to students, tracking their development and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Maintain a professional and punctual virtual classroom environment, ensuring all technical requirements (e.g., stable internet, webcam, microphone) are met.
- Collaborate with the Intouch Language Inc. team to align with curriculum standards, student expectations, and company policies.
- Stay updated on ESL teaching best practices, language trends, and cultural nuances to deliver high-quality instruction.
- Participate in occasional training sessions, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to refine your teaching skills.
Qualifications
- Native-level English proficiency (speakers from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa are preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, English, or a related field (or equivalent teaching experience).
- Minimum of 1 year of ESL/EFL teaching experience, preferably with adult learners or professionals.
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Tech-savvy with experience using virtual classroom platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, or proprietary ESL software).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a professional setup (webcam, headset, and microphone).
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness, particularly regarding Korean workplace etiquette and communication styles.
