Responsibility
- Monitor and ensure the smooth execution of sea freight operations, including shipment tracking, documentation, and compliance with international regulations.
- Collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve operational issues and optimize logistics processes.
- Coordinate with warehouses, ports, and transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of shipments.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in sea logistics workflows.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for sea freight operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports on operational performance, KPIs, and customer feedback.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sea freight logistics, operational support, or customer service within the logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of sea freight processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking.
- Proficiency in using logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment while maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and operational excellence.
