Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily export operations for sea freight, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to optimize cargo movement and minimize delays.
- Monitor and track shipments from origin to destination, providing real-time updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and warehouse operations, to ensure seamless end-to-end logistics solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in sea freight and export operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sea freight operations, export logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., ERP systems, TMS, or freight management platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
