Responsibility
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on products to confirm they meet company and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
- Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory audits to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Label, sort, and organize inventory in designated storage areas for easy retrieval.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as scanners, forklifts (if certified), and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Checker, Inventory Clerk, or in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in documentation and inventory.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Physical ability to lift and move items up to 25 kg, stand for extended periods, and work in varying warehouse conditions.
- Good communication skills to report issues and coordinate with team members effectively.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
