Responsibility
- Perform detailed inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document and report inspection results, including any deviations or non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality metrics for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and company quality policies.
- Conduct regular calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and non-conformities.
- Effective communication skills to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality manuals.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
