Responsibility
- Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate health records in compliance with school policies.
- Conduct regular health screenings (e.g., vision, hearing, growth assessments) and monitor student health trends.
- Develop and implement health education programs to promote wellness and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to create individualized health plans for students with chronic conditions.
- Ensure the school environment meets health and safety standards, including sanitation and infection control.
- Respond to public health concerns (e.g., outbreaks) and coordinate with local health authorities when necessary.
- Maintain a well-stocked and organized health clinic with up-to-date medical supplies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; valid nursing license (local or international, with eligibility to practice in Indonesia).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric, school, or community health nursing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of child development, common childhood illnesses, and emergency protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work independently, make quick decisions, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and basic administrative tasks.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is highly desirable.
