Responsibility
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address academic, social, and emotional challenges.
- Develop and implement character-building programs to foster positive values and behaviors.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess students’ psychosocial development and intervene when necessary.
- Organize workshops and seminars on life skills, mental health, and career guidance.
- Maintain confidential records of counseling sessions and student progress.
- Support students in conflict resolution and peer mediation.
- Promote a culture of inclusivity, respect, and emotional well-being within the school community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a school counselor or in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
- Familiarity with counseling techniques, child development theories, and behavioral management strategies.
- Certification in counseling (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor or equivalent) is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia).
- Passion for student development and mentorship with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
