Responsibility
- Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
- Develop and implement therapeutic intervention programs tailored to students' needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student well-being and academic success.
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students requiring additional support.
- Organize workshops and training sessions on mental health awareness for students and staff.
- Maintain confidential records and documentation in compliance with school policies and ethical standards.
- Crisis intervention and emergency support for students in distress.
- Promote a positive school culture by fostering resilience, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required).
- Licensed or certified as a counselor or therapist (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in school counseling or therapeutic support for children/adolescents.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with students and stakeholders.
- Experience working in international or multicultural settings (advantageous).
- Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and behavioral interventions.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection principles.
