Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Ensure all school facilities, including playgrounds and outdoor spaces, are tidy and free of hazards.
- Restock and maintain supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners, mops) safely and efficiently.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to meet health and safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the facilities team promptly.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces for school functions, meetings, or activities.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure a seamless and welcoming environment for students, parents, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or facility maintenance, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to schedules.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Basic English communication skills to interact with staff and follow instructions.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for supporting education.
