Responsibility
- Oversee daily sanitation operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of sanitation staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement sanitation schedules, procedures, and checklists to maintain optimal cleanliness levels.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to protocols.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to integrate sanitation processes seamlessly into facility operations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
- Investigate and resolve sanitation-related issues, documenting corrective actions and outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to enhance sanitation programs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sanitation, housekeeping, or facility management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA, GMP, or other relevant health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts, as required by operational needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in sanitation or facility management is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact with team members and management.
