Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the daily washing, sanitizing, drying, and segregation of crates and containers according to company SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with local and international hygiene, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate sanitation staff to maintain high performance and adherence to protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, tools, and facilities to identify and address hygiene or maintenance issues.
- Develop and implement improved sanitation processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, including chemical usage, cleaning schedules, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to align sanitation practices with operational workflows.
- Investigate and resolve sanitation-related complaints or non-compliance incidents promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sanitation, hygiene management, or a related field, preferably in logistics or manufacturing.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, chemical safety, and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train staff and liaise with other departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with SOPs, HACCP, or other quality management systems is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform inspections and demonstrate sanitation techniques as needed.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for record-keeping and reporting.
