Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive SHE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation strategies to minimize workplace incidents and environmental impact.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and incident investigations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing SHE performance metrics and implementing data-driven solutions.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees at all levels to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Collaborate with senior management to integrate SHE considerations into business decisions, projects, and operational processes.
- Ensure emergency preparedness by developing and testing response plans for potential crises (e.g., fires, chemical spills, natural disasters).
- Represent the company in interactions with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and community stakeholders on SHE-related matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, CIH, ISO Lead Auditor) are a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SHE management, preferably within manufacturing, smelting, or heavy industry environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian and international SHE regulations, including OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing SHE management systems and achieving measurable improvements in safety performance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to influence behavior and drive organizational change.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis (e.g., using techniques like 5 Whys or Fishbone Diagrams).
- Proficiency in SHE software tools (e.g., Intelex, SAP EHS) and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and data analysis.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
